The New Orleans Saints came away with a solid haul from the 2022 NFL Draft, giving them an instant injection of young talent that could make an immediate impact. That doesn't mean New Orleans won't continue to add pieces to improve this roster.

The latest rumors involving the Saints link them to one of the top remaining free agents.

Saints Free Agency Rumors

Michael Balko of Who Dat Dish claims New Orleans has "re-opened contract discussions" with wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Though the Saints traded up for Chris Olave in the first round of the draft, this group could still use some proven veteran talent to complement Michael Thomas.

This isn't the first time Landry has been connected to New Orleans this offseason. He previously had a visit with the team ahead of the draft, so there's clear interest on both sides.

There's no denying how Landry could elevate the offense. He made five straight Pro Bowls from 2015-2019, averaging 96 receptions, 1,086 yards and 5.4 touchdowns per season during that stretch.

Landry's 2021 campaign was mired by injury and quarterback issues, but he could bounce back in a huge way surrounded by New Orleans' strong supporting cast of weapons.
