Saints Release Awesome Highlight Video from First Week of OTAs
Teams around the NFL have been holding Organized Team Activities (OTAs) to get a better idea of how their roster is shaping up ahead of training camp. That includes the New Orleans Saints, who underwent several changes this offseason following a disappointing 2021 campaign.
Fans aren't always able to follow every single thing that happens at OTAs, which is why the Saints faithful are pumped that their team released an awesome video highlighting the first week of activities on Friday.
New Orleans Saints OTAs
Obviously, a one-minute highlight video isn't going to tell an entire story, but it does a good job at showing fans who's showed up to OTAs while giving a general idea of how some players look.
Jameis Winston seems to be recovering well from his ACL tear and will be counted upon to be a starting quarterback that the Saints can trust. First-round rookie wideout Chris Olave even looked comfortable in his appearance. He has the potential to be something special and New Orleans would love it if he could begin that journey this fall.
One player who was noticeably absent is superstar wide receiver Michael Thomas. He's still recovering from an ankle surgery from last July, but the coaching staff hope to see him on the field once training camp officially begins.
The Saints need all of their players to remain healthy throughout the 2022 NFL season if they're to make any noise in the playoffs. Surviving OTAs and then training camp without any issues is the first step to that.
Saints Super Bowl Odds
The Saints are somewhat on the outside looking in when it comes to FanDuel Sportsbook's Super Bowl LVII odds. They're currently listed as having +4000 odds to go on a championship run, which puts them in a five-way tie for 17th place.
