Saints Get More Bad News on Michael Thomas Injury Update

Things just keep getting worse for New Orleans Saints' star wide receiver Michael Thomas. Though it looked like he was set to return from a high-ankle sprain and suspension in Week 7, the team has already ruled him out due to a hamstring injury.
It appears that injury could be more serious than the team initially believed, as Thomas' status for Week 8 reportedly appears to be in jeopardy as well.

Not having Thomas would be a big loss, as New Orleans takes on the 5-1 Chicago Bears. Plus, Emmanuel Sanders is currently on the COVID-reserve list, so he's no guarantee to be available in Week 8 either.
If both of the Saints' top wideouts can't go, Drew Brees will likely be working with Jared Cook, Alvin Kamara and No. 3 WR Tre'Quan Smith as his top targets.
Thomas' status will be crucial for fans to monitor throughout the week.
