The New Orleans Saints already knew they would be without their superstar running back Alvin Kamara in Week 12. However, there was still hope that backup Mark Ingram would find his way to the field despite dealing with a knee injury. That hope is now lost.

Mark Ingram Injury Update

New Orleans officially ruled out Ingram for Thursday Night's contest against the Buffalo Bills.

Ingram has played 4 games for the Saints this season and has been largely effective during Kamara's absence.

In his 4 games with the Saints this season, Ingram has only averaged less than 4.5 yards per carry once, and has also been great in the passing game as well, grabbing at least 4 catches in three of his four outings.

Tony Jones Jr. will step in to the starting role on Thursday Night against the Buffalo Bills where the Saints are 6.5-point home underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
