The 2021 Ryder Cup is upon us. Now less than one month away, the 43rd edition is set to take place at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin. The teams for the two sides are taking shape, with Patrick Cantlay earning the final automatic spot on the United States team on the back of a win at the BMW Championship on Sunday.

Europe has been dominant in this event since 2002, winning seven of the nine in that span. However, the United States is a pretty decent favorite heading into this year's event.

The United States holds -195 odds to win the Ryder Cup, compared to Europe, which holds +175, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's opening odds. Odds for a tie currently sit at +1200.

Sure to feature a good chunk of the world's top golfers, the Ryder Cup is always a notable event on the golf calendar.
