Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has only seemed to get better and better with every season spent as the Tennessee Titans' offensive leader. This recent production combined with the amount of offensive weapons on Tennessee's roster paints him as a reliable top-10 QB in fantasy football leagues.
Ryan Tannehill Fantasy Value
Tannehill finished as the No. 7 QB in fantasy football last season despite playing in a run-heavy offensive scheme. In fact, the Titans ranked No. 3 in the NFL with a 50.28% rush play percentage in 2020. That could all change this season as a new offensive coordinator takes over in Todd Downing.
The 33-year-old veteran signal-caller is playing some of the best football of his career and completed 65.5% of his pass attempts last season for 3,819 yards. Tannehill also threw a career-high 33 touchdowns and added 266 rushing yards to go with another 7 touchdowns on the ground.
When it comes down to it, Tannehill has an arsenal full of dynamic playmakers to work with this season. It turns out that losing Corey Davis in free agency doesn't hurt too much as Tennessee traded for seven-time Pro Bowler Julio Jones. He joins A.J. Brown in what is one of the best wide receiver duos in the league.
Ryan Tannehill ADP
There isn't much to not like about Tannehill this season and that includes his draft price. FantasyPros' average draft position data show the ninth-year pro is being taken at 92.0 overall and QB11. All things considered, his QB1 status should not be questioned.
Tannehill is the perfect option for fantasy managers looking to wait at the position and grab their first quarterback late. He checks in at QB11 in The Duel's 2021 fantasy football rankings.
