Throughout his career, there hasn't really been anything to complain about when it comes to Russell Wilson producing in fantasy football. Last year wasn't any different as the Seahawks gunslinger produced QB7 numbers throughout the year, averaging 23.3 fantasy points per week.

Heading into 2021, Wilson still projects as a top-10 fantasy football QB (at worst). But, for the first time in his career, there appeared to be slight trouble in paradise. There brief trade rumors and now Wilson wants the Seahawks to pay o-lineman Duane Brown.

Don't let those minor issues scare you off though.

These are only slight hiccups. On the field, there are a few, very minimal concerns about his fantasy outlook. For one, Wilson and the Seahawks offense seemed relatively uninterested down the stretch. From Weeks 14-17, Wilson failed to reach 250+ passing yards in the final four games of the regular season.

In fact, Wilson went from QB3 in Weeks 1-12 to QB15 in the final four. It could be an aberration, but if you're looking to truly dissect Wilson's fantasy outlook, it's worth noting.

Wilson put up the highest passing attempts (558) in his career last year. Part of that came with Seattle's terrible run-blocking in the o-line. The o-line unit is, once again, dealing with injuries and that could mean more passing from Wilson again this year.

One other storyline to watch is Seattle's new offensive coordinator, Shane Waldron, who comes over after serving as the Los Angeles Rams passing game coordinator. It could take some time for Waldron and Wilson to mesh, but this is a favorable addition for his fantasy outlook.

Wilson is going to put up top-10 QB numbers. He easily serves as QB1 on fantasy rosters, it's just about where you feel comfortable drafting him considering some of these minimal question marks.

Wilson checks in as QB5 on The Duel's preseason fantasy football rankings.
