Royals Get Great News With Adalberto Mondesi Injury Update

Kansas City Royals fans had some serious room for concern on Monday when Adalberto Mondesi made an early exit with a hamstring injury.
This was just the seventh game of the season for Mondesi, who opened the season on IL with an oblique strain.
Royals News: Adalberto Mondesi Injury
Good news came on Thursday, though. This hamstring issue doesn't seem like it will be a long-term problem, and he could even be back in the lineup by tonight or tomorrow.
Dayton Moore says he hopes to see Mondi in the lineup tonight or tomorrow. Worst case scenario is a minimum retroactive IL stint but hoping things progress well today leading up to tonight’s game against the Twins. #TogetherRoyal

Mondesi was clearly feeling no lingering ill effects from his oblique injury, as he opened the season slashing .360/.360/.720 with 2 home runs, 5 RBI and 1 stolen base in just 26 plate appearances.
The Royals currently sit 5.0 games back of the Chicago White Sox in the AL Central, and having Mondesi back in the fold will go a long way in helping their push for a Wild Card playoff spot.
Even with Mondesi uncertain, FanDuel Sportsbook's MLB odds have the Royals as -124 favorites against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday.
