When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked Ronald Jones II in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, they likely hoped they were investing in a feature back. The early returns suggested Jones was anything but, as he rarely saw the field as a rookie, generating just 44 rushing yards on 23 attempts last season.

While Jones has looked much better in year two, he's been stuck behind Peyton Barber for much of the season. However, in Week 4, Jones may have finally taken control of the Buccaneers' backfield.

After Barber out-touched Jones, 39 to 19, over the last two weeks, Jones saw 20 touches in Week 4, while Barber only had nine.

Jones was pretty effective on Sunday, turning those 20 touches into 82 yards and a TD. He also looked like the far more explosive back, as Jones had a 24-yard rush while Barber's longest carry of the day went for just seven yards.

This backfield will likely be unpredictable on a week-to-week basis, but Jones has been the more efficient player through four games. At just 43 percent owned in Yahoo! fantasy football leagues, Jones is absolutely worth a flier.

Jones is likely an RB3 going forward, but if his volume in Week 4 is a sign of things to come, he has the potential to be a valuable fantasy asset for the remainder of the season.
