Rockies Have Perfect Response on Twitter to Losing 23-5

Every pro sports team has a Twitter account. Over the years, many of them have developed reputations, some for being funny, witty and entertaining, and others for being boring and missing the mark. The Rockies fall on the former side of that coin.
An account which is usually pretty entertaining did it again on a night when the team had very little to be happy or upbeat about. After losing their game, 23-5, the Rockies' Twitter gave the perfect response in the moment.
We typically have positive and encouraging words when tweeting the final score after losses. Or some kind of clever approach.

Not tonight.
We lost 23-5. It sucked. Good night.
Being a great Twitter account when representing a pro team should make it feel like one a smart, funny fan is running it. That's when the content resonates the best, and this tweet was a perfect example of that.
The Rockies social media team read the room, took the punches and moved on to the next game. Hopefully the actual team can do the same following the brutal loss.
