The first Monday Night Football game of the 2022 NFL season did not disappoint in terms of talking points coming out of the game. Coming in as 6.5-point favorites with the stage set for a Russell Wilson revenge game, the Denver Broncos weren't able to come away with the win in Seattle.

There has been a ton of talk postgame about the decisions the Broncos and their new head coach, Nathaniel Hackett, made on the field and at the end of the game. One of the people weighing in is Wilson's former teammate in Seattle, Richard Sherman.

Following another failed scoring attempt in the Red Zone by the Broncos, Sherman tweeted something that many are considering shade toward Russell Wilson.

While the tweet he quoted specifically calls out Hackett, the statement also applies to Wilson. Both Hackett and the Wilson are new in Denver and you have to expect there to be an adjustment period to start the season. However, most Broncos fans would deem how that game ended on Monday Night to be beyond normal growing pains for any head coach and especially a Super Bowl winning quarterback.
