Phase 1 of the 2022 MLB All-Star Game's voting is well underway. Although there's still plenty of time to see which players will advance to Phase 2 of the process, several fanbases should be overly joyed with how the early results are shaping up, especially if they happen to be Boston Red Sox fans.

2022 MLB All-Star Game Voting

Boston's early-season did not go according to plan on the heels of an ALCS appearance in 2021. The Red Sox played sub-.500 baseball through June, but turned things around with a 14-4 start to the month.

Despite the slow start, Boston sees its stars all over the leaderboard of these early voting results. Rafael Devers is the current projected starter at third base with a slim lead over Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Guardians.

Both J.D. Martinez and Xander Bogaerts are also in striking distance for the voting lead at their respective positions. Martinez ranks third for the DH position and Bogaerts is in the middle of a tight race at shortstop. Bogaerts' 525,000 votes trail only Tim Anderson of the Chicago White Sox (528K) and Bo Bichette of the Toronto Blue Jays (585K).

Red Sox fans have plenty of time to keep casting votes. The 2022 MLB All-Star Game's Phase 1 voting will continue until Thursday, June 30 at 2 p.m. ET.
