The Baltimore Ravens have had much more success recruiting free agents this year than they did last offseason. After adding Marcus Williams and Michael Pierce to their defense, the Ravens recently joined the pursuit of standout linebacker Bobby Wagner in hopes of landing one more big name.

Wagner announced his decision to join the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, though, and Baltimore players aren't happy.

Star cornerback Marlon Humphrey wasn't thrilled that Wagner opted to not link up as his newest teammate, tweeting simply "I am upset." Quarterback Lamar Jackson piggybacked on Humphrey's comment and offered the angry emoji to show his feelings on Wagner's choice.

There's no denying how valuable Wagner would've been as an addition to this defense. He has earned First or Second Team All-Pro selections in eight straight seasons, a streak that dates all the way back to the 2014 campaign.

In his age-31 season last year, he remained dominant with 170 combined tackles (93 solo), 3 tackles for loss, 5 passes defended and 1 interception.

Despite Wagner spurning them, Baltimore is in great position to bounce back in 2022. The Ravens own the 11th-best odds to win Super Bowl LVII at +2100, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
