Prior to Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs were quite a kryptonite to the Baltimore Ravens during the Lamar Jackson era. Kansas City had won all three contests against Baltimore with Jackson as the starter.

That streak ended on Sunday after a brilliant performance by Jackson and company while overcoming a 28-17 third quarter deficit. Despite the victory over the current Super Bowl 56 favorites, the Ravens are still getting disrespected by the latest odds to take home the title on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Ravens Super Bowl Odds

Prior to the year, the Ravens ranked with the fifth-best odds (+1400) to win Super Bowl 56. Even with a convincing victory over the Chiefs, Baltimore still sits with +1400 odds while seeing both the San Francisco 49ers (+1300) and Los Angeles Rams (+1300) jump them.

Despite their spot in the latest Super Bowl odds, the Ravens can hang their hats on Sunday night's thrilling victory. Jackson and the high-powered rushing offense outpaced Kansas City with 481 total yards on offense. The defense showed up big, as well.

Baltimore's defense held Kansas City rushers to just 62 rushing yards and 1 touchdown, while the Baltimore rushing attack combined for 3 scores and 251 yards. Not only did the defense force Patrick Mahomes into 1 interception and Clyde Edwards-Helaire into a game-deciding fumble, but Baltimore also dominated time of possession (35:59 to 24:01).

It was a complete team effort and the kind of performance that should put the rest of the league on notice. Still, these latest Super Bowl odds are quite disrespectful to a team that put on that kind of show on national television.
