Rangers Pulling Out All the Stops For Jack Leiter's Minor League Debut

Jack Leiter is a special talent. Less than one year after getting drafted No. 2 overall by the Texas Rangers, the stellar pitcher already tops the franchise's list of top prospects.
Leiter joined the camp for Spring Training but will not be rushed into big league action. Instead, Leiter will kick off the year at Double-A Frisco. Texas understands the hype around this potential generational talent, and the hype is building for his official Minor League debut.

Rangers News
The "Jack Pack" is a special ticket package for Frisco's opening series, which is headlined by Leiter's start on Saturday, April 9.
The Rangers/Roughriders are also rolling out some awesome promotions including Leiter-themed t-shirt tosses, a life-size cutout of the Vanderbilt product available for photo opportunities, and themed baseball cards. In addition, the Roughriders will give free tickets for life to every fan in attendance if Leiter is able to record 22 strikeouts.
It's partly all in the good, fun-spirited nature of Minor League Baseball. But, it's clear the hype is real. That's understandable given Leiter's successes up to this point. The No. 17 prospect in baseball is was a unanimous First Team All-American at Vanderbilt in 2021, going 11-4 with a 2.13 ERA in 18 starts.
