Rams-Seahawks Odds Shifted Sharply With Jared Goff Return to Practice

One of the most intriguing matchups of Wild Card Weekend is the NFC West clash between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

Both teams had something of an up-and-down season, but the Rams opened as 4.5-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook while it looked like John Wolford was going to get the start for the injured Jared Goff.

Goff was throwing at practice Wednesday, however, and the line quickly shifted a full point, leaving the Rams as just 3.5-point underdogs.

The Rams won their lone game with Wolford at the helm, but it's clear that he's a massive downgrade from Goff. They won despite Wolford's 22-of-38 passing performance, which included 231 yards, 0 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Goff isn't having his most efficient season by any stretch, but his 67.0% completion rate in the regular season represents a career-high, and he threw for 20 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

The Seahawks' defense seems to have turned the corner in the second half of the season, and having their starting QB back would go a long way to helping the Rams pull off an upset here.
