The Los Angeles Rams and Odell Beckham Jr. pairing quickly turned into a perfect match at the end of the 2022 season. Beckham looked like his old self down the stretch, and played a key role in getting the Rams all the way to Super Bowl 56.

Los Angeles walked away with a Lombardi trophy even despite Beckham's torn ACL, but that left his future with the Rams and impending free agency very much up in the air.

The Rams front office recently spoke at the team's minicamp, and made their feelings on a potential OBJ reunion abundantly clear.

Rams COO Kevin Demoff spoke about his team's love for OBJ and the sort of impact he had both on and off the field.

"I think everybody would love to have Odell the player back, Odell the person back, you know, Odell the human being. He was a great asset for us, we enjoyed having him around. All kinds of variables that come into Odell. The one variable that hasn't changed is how much we love him and want him to be here. I think he's expressed over social his desire to be here. Am I optimistic that we can get a deal done over time? Yes."

Demoff even alludes to OBJ's stated desire to rejoin the Rams over Twitter back in May.

Outside of any limiting factors, the Rams are keen on bringing back OBJ. The veteran wideout hauled in five touchdowns and 27 receptions in seven starts for the Rams a year ago.

It is, however, quite clear his free agency and injury rehab plays a major factor.

Demoff also spoke about this timeline, stating that this dissuades any sense of urgency. OBJ likely won't be ready until at least the midway point of the season, so the Rams have plenty of time to make a deal happen. It's simply a matter of making sure OBJ doesn't sign elsewhere in the meantime.

The Rams are gearing up for another deep postseason run. Currently, Los Angeles holds the fourth-best odds (+1100) to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
