The Los Angeles Rams defense did not hit double-digit fantasy points in any of their first six games of the season, averaging only 6.8 per game. That's made them a huge disappointment after being drafted on average as the second defense off the board.

Fantasy Football Defense Points

With Jalen Ramsey making his debut in Week 7's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, the Rams turned things around in a big way, scoring 21 fantasy points.

The Rams have been putting heavy pressure on opposing quarterbacks all season, and they entered Week 7 as one of only fie teams with a pressure rate (combined hurries, knockdowns and sacks per drop back) of at least 30 percent.

That played a big part in their success against the Falcons, recording nine QB hits and five sacks. They also scored their second defensive touchdown of the season, providing a big boost to their fantasy score.

The Rams defense will be a terrific fantasy option again in Week 8, as they draw a matchup with a Cincinnati Bengals team that just gave up 17 fantasy points to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
