While Derek Carr's name is popping up in trade rumors, the Las Vegas Raiders seem intent on building around their quarterback. The team's rookies struggled to make noise in 2020, with Henry Ruggs especially having a season below expectations.

In order to bolster their wide receiving corps, the Raiders are reportedly targeting one star wideout in particular.

Las Vegas is "very interested" in signing Pittsburgh Steelers free agent JuJu Smith-Schuster. That would be a massive move for the Raiders, who already having weapons like Darren Waller and Nelson Agholor around Carr.

Smith-Schuster excels as a possession-minded wideout, ranking ninth in receptions (97) last season while going for 831 yards and 9 TDs with Pittsburgh in 2020.

With speedsters like Agholor and Ruggs on the outside, Smith-Schuster could provide another go-to option in the middle of the field for Carr outside of Waller, elevating an already deadly offense that also has star running back Josh Jacobs.

This is one of several splashy moves the team could make this offseason, as head coach Jon Gruden is planting the seeds for what could be a very busy time in Las Vegas.
