After starting the season being the punchline of many jokes, the Oakland Raiders find themselves one game out of first place in the AFC West, and much of that has to do with their talented rookie class.

Josh Jacobs, who has been one of the league's most impressive backs this season, leads the list of Raiders rookies as he sits fourth in the NFL in rushing yards (923) while scoring seven touchdowns.

Blocking for him is rookie fullback Alec Ingold, who has also scored a touchdown. Rookie receivers Hunter Renfrow and Keelan Doss have picked up their production in recent weeks as well, and rookie tight end Foster Moreau has caught a touchdown in four of his past six games.

Defensively, the Raiders have rookies that are getting after the quarterback. First-round pick Clelin Ferrell has 3.5 sacks, while fourth-round defensive end Maxx Crosby looks to be one of the steals of the 2019 NFL Draft, totaling 6.5 sacks so far.

With all of this talent on both sides of the ball, a 6-4 record and three straight wins, head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock are clearly doing something right in Oakland.
