Raiders Rookie Bryan Edwards Makes Big Impression on Derek Carr
By Max Staley

The Las Vegas Raiders spent a lot of capital on their skill-position group this offseason. They selected Henry Ruggs III in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and followed that up by taking both Lynn Bowden Jr. and Bryan Edwards in Round 3.

But it might be Edwards who has made the biggest impression on Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. Check out what Carr had to say about Edwards while speaking with the press:
Bryan is a very violent route runner, and that's a good thing... He's very violent, he's very aggressive in his cuts, he reminds me -- when the ball is in the air -- of Davante (Adams), great ball skills.

He even referred to the rookie wideout as a "freak talent." That's some seriously high praise from Carr.
There's a lot to like about the rookie's game. Over his last three seasons at South Carolina, he racked up 2,455 receiving yards on 190 receptions, scoring 18 touchdowns during that span.
If Carr really likes Edwards this much, he could be in for a surprisingly productive rookie campaign.
