Raiders Players Blast NFL's Decision to Postpone Browns Game

Friday brought a major shakeup to the NFL's Week 15 schedule, as several games were postponed due to rising COVID-19 cases around the league. The Las Vegas Raiders were set to take on the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, but their contest has now been postponed to Monday, Dec. 20.
Several Raiders players aren't happy about the decision.
I pay my player dues just to get lied to and the rules bent! @NFL @NFLPA

If it was the other way around I swear we would be playing tomorrow
K.J. Wright spoke out against the postponement, expressing disappointment with rules being "bent" to make this happen. Wright even suggested this wouldn't have been the outcome if Las Vegas was the team plagued by COVID-related absences.
I’m sure the @NFLPA president playing for the Browns didn’t have any effect on these negotiations… pic.twitter.com/MZ95eVyOiz

Fellow veteran Casey Hayward also tweeted out his frustrations. Hayward pointed out that Browns center JC Tretter is the NFLPA president and likely had a hand in arguing for a postponement.
This is a frustrating turn of events for Las Vegas, who has avoided the COVID outbreak so far. The Raiders had an easy win potentially lined up to boost their Wild Card hopes, but now Cleveland has time to get several key players back for Monday.
Las Vegas is also now facing a short turnaround for their Week 16 contest due to the Browns' isssues. The Raiders face the Denver Broncos on Dec. 26, giving them just five full days between games.
