Raiders Offensive Line Remains Uncertain After Veteran Tackle Goes on IR
By Tyler Maher

The Las Vegas Raiders still have some questions around who will man their offensive line this season, but at least now they know Brandon Parker won't be part of those plans.
Parker, 26, was placed on the IR on Sunday and will miss the entire 2022 NFL season. This comes as a significant blow to the Raiders, who will miss the right tackle after he played all 17 regular-season games for them last year, starting 13.
The @Raiders were holding out hope Brandon Parker could come back this year, but he will now miss entire season after being put on IR.

Parker has been with Las Vegas since the organization selected him in the third round of the 2018 draft. He saw his playing time decrease in 2019 and 2020 but was more of a presence last year, playing on 77% of the team's offensive snaps.
Parker's absence thus creates a significant hole on the Raiders' interior. Las Vegas may replace him by shifting over Alex Leatherwood from right guard rather than bringing in an external option, but the offensive line remains unsettled with just two weeks remaining until their Week 1 opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.
However they decide to replace Parker, it's clear that the Raiders have some decisions to make between now and then. A weak offensive line could severely hamper a passing attack that's expected to improve this year after landing Davante Adams in the offseason. It would also make life more difficult for Las Vegas in a stacked AFC West, where they're currently +700 longshots to win the division on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
