With the 2019 NCAA football season just two months away, each Power 5 conference team's projected season win totals are already available on FanDuel Sportsbook. While there are always surprises over the course of full regular season, these projections usually give us a pretty good idea as to what we can expect from each of the nation's strongest football conferences.

Here's a look at the Power 5 conferences ranked by the average projected regular-season win totals among each conference's top-4 teams.

5. Big XII: 8.875 Wins

Oklahoma has the highest projected regular-season win total in the Big XII at 10.5, despite having to replace Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Kyler Murray with graduate transfer, Jalen Hurts. The oddsmakers also appear to expect Sam Ehlinger to lead Texas to another successful season, with the Longhorns' current projected total sitting at 9.5 wins. There's a significant drop-off after these two top teams, however, as Iowa State's 8.0 wins and TCU's 7.5 wins round out the top-4 teams by projected totals in the Big XII.

4. ACC: 9 Wins

This one might come as a surprise for most, but the conference that's home to the reigning College Football Playoff national champion Clemson Tigers comes in at No. 4 on this list. While Clemson's 11.5-win projected total is the highest in the entire country, there's a pretty steep decline in quality after the Tigers. Looking ahead at the rest of the conference's top teams, Miami (8.5) Virginia Tech (8.5), and North Carolina State (7.5) round out the ACC's top-4 talents.

3. Pac-12: 9 Wins

Despite being the only Power 5 conference not to produce a national champion over the past 14 seasons, the Pac-12's top four teams' average regular-season win total is actually the same as the ACC's mark at 9.0. Yet, the Pac-12 doesn't have the same kind of dominating favorite as the ACC, with Washington (9.5), Utah (9), Oregon (9) and Washington State (8.5) all sitting within 1.0 projected wins of each other for the 2019 season.

2. Big Ten: 9.25 Wins

The Ohio State Buckeyes have gone through some major changes since going 13-1 and winning the 2018 Big Ten Championship last season, starting with the retirement of head coach Urban Meyer. Transfer quarterback Justin Fields is expected to continue where Dwayne Haskins left off in Columbus, as the Buckeyes still have the highest projected regular-season win total in the Big Ten (10.5). Michigan is right behind them at 9.5, with Penn State and Wisconsin rounding out the top four at 8.5 wins each.

1. SEC: 10 Wins

Perhaps, rather unsurprisingly, the SEC once again looks poised to be the most competitive college football conference in the 2019 season, especially toward the top. It appears that Nick Saban should once again have plenty to keep a neutral face about, as Alabama heads into the season with an 11-win projected total. The Crimson Tide are neck and neck with the Georgia Bulldogs, who also share an 11-win projected total. LSU and Florida are both tied for the third-highest projections at 9.0 wins each. It's no secret that the best teams the SEC has to offer are normally the same ones vying for at least one CFP spot every December.
