Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Bryce Harper sat out of Sunday's game against the New York Mets after his left calf was hit by a pitch during Saturday's 4-3 loss. Fortunately, the 2015 National League MVP won't be out of the lineup any longer.

The Phillies announced on Monday that Harper will be back in the lineup for tonight's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

Bryce Harper Injury Update

Injuries have limited Harper to playing in just 55 of Philadelphia's 75 contests so far this season. Considering how they're 5.0 games back of the Mets for the NL East league, the Phillies need their $330 million man to be at the top of his game if they hope to see any success this season. Harper currently has 11 home runs and 21 RBI through 195 at-bats this season on .272/.385/.492 slashing.

The good news for the six-time MLB All-Star is that left-handed pitcher Wade Miley is getting the start of the Reds on Monday. While Harper has only faced Miley on four occasions in his career, he's managed to record 5 hits in 10 ABs while also recording an RBI and a walk.

Harper has more than enough talent to change Philadelphia's season around and that can all begin tonight, however, it will be somewhat challenging. The Phillies are entering Monday's matchup against the Reds as the +132 underdogs, while Cincinnati is favored at -156 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
