Game 1: Seattle Mariners (-112) vs. Kansas City Royals, 8:15 p.m. EST
The Mariners have the best record in baseball right now, and the Royals don't exactly pose the biggest threat, as they've started 2-6 this season. Felix Hernandez (1-0, 1.69 ERA) is making the start for the Mariners on Monday night, and the Royals are hitting .239 against him in his career.
Félix Hernández, who turns 33 today, knows the blueprint for how he now needs to attack hitters. He showed us last week.

Virginia and Texas Tech are two of the best defensive teams in the country, but the Cavaliers have proven to be slightly better. Virginia has the No. 1 scoring defense in the nation, allowing 55.5 points per game (PPG) this season, which is 3.3 points less than Texas Tech's defense, which ranks No. 3 in the country.
