After back-to-back embarrassing losses, the Green Bay Packers need to add a spark to their offense. They hope to find one on Tuesday when they work out a rookie wide receiver.
Green Bay Packers News
The rookie wideout hoping to make Green Bay's roster is Ty Fryfogle. The 23-year-old undrafted free agent out of Indiana was with the Dallas Cowboys during preseason before being waived on Aug. 15 due to a hamstring injury.
Now healthy, Fryfogle is getting another crack at the NFL. The Packers are desperate for wide receiver help after losing Davante Adams to the Denver Broncos in the offseason, leaving Aaron Rodgers woefully shorthanded. Fryfogle could provide a boost there after a productive college career that saw him haul in 158 receptions for 2,231 yards and 14 touchdowns in five seasons for the Hoosiers.
In addition to working out Fryfogle, Green Bay is also preparing for a Week 7 road matchup with the Washington Commanders. Despite their recent struggles, the Packers are still listed as 5.5-point road favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
