The Green Bay Packers are coming off yet another disappointing loss in the NFC Championship. Instead of having an offseason where they do nothing to help the team get better, the front office and coaches seem dedicated to at least trying to go all-in this season to win a Super Bowl.

One of the changes they has already been made was a switch at defensive coordinator. Everyone on the Packers have also been saying there needs to be an increased level of play from their inside linebackers. They recently cut veteran Christian Kirksey to free up some cap, so they should find someone to replace him in free agency.

Since Green Bay does not have much cap room. they should explore signing Todd Davis from the Minnesota Vikings.

Davis signed a one-year deal with the Vikings last offseason worth less than $1 million. Limited to just eight games, Davis may not cost much more this offseason.

The former Denver Broncos linebacker has never been especially strong in coverage, but he is a solid run stopper. This is an area the Packers have struggled with, so signing a rotational player of this caliber for cheap is the type of move that needs to be made in order to make the next step.
