The NFL offseason has been a wild ride for the Green Bay Packers. Although they managed to sign franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a four-year, $200 million extension, they also traded superstar wideout Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Fortunately, the Packers' future is looking bright now that they hold the No. 22 and 28 picks at the 2022 NFL Draft. It gets even better because ESPN's Mel Kiper has the organization making two selections that fans will love in his latest 2022 NFL mock draft.

Packers Mock Draft

Kiper has the Packers addressing multiple needs in his latest mock draft. He projects Green Bay selecting Texas A&M offensive guard Kenyon Green at No. 22 before drafting Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks at No. 28.

The Packers lost OG Lucas Patrick in free agency when he signed with the Chicago Bears, which is why drafting Green is a great pick. The 21-year-old started games at every o-line position except center in 2021 while allowing just one sack on 404 pass-block snaps.

Meanwhile, selecting Burks addresses a hole that was left by the Adams trade. The Arkansas wideout had a career year last season, recording 66 receptions for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns en route to first-team All-SEC honors. With Adams gone, Burks could step into the WR1 role right away and could reach his potential sooner than later.

While Green and Burks may not immediately play at Patrick and Adams' level, they each have promising upside that could have them being mainstays in the Packers' offense for years to come.

The 2022 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 28 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
