Packers Fans Will Love Early ESPN NFL Power Rankings for 2022

The Green Bay Packers ended the 2021 NFL season as the best team in the regular season, finishing with a 13-4 record. Unfortunately, that momentum from that success couldn't deliver a Super Bowl, with Green Bay losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round.
While there's a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Packers' offseason, fans can take solace in the fact that ESPN is projecting Green Bay to be one of the best teams in the NFL next season.

Packers Power Ranking
ESPN has listed the Packers as the No. 4 team on their early 2022 NFL Power Rankings, While that may not be first place, the only NFC team that they trail happens to be the Super Bowl LVI-winning Los Angeles Rams (No. 3).
The Packers have a lot they need to take over this offseason, with the most important task being how to ensure that Aaron Rodgers is under center next season. The reigning NFL MVP has been linked to trade rumors for nearly a year now, but having him as the starter to begin the 2022 season is crucial for any potential success.
The Packers also need to figure out a way to bring back two-time All-Pro wideout Davante Adams. The 29-year-old is scheduled to hit free agency and Green Bay doesn't have any legitimate No. 1 wide receivers behind him. Even if Rodgers comes back, it's tough imagining the Packers going on a Super Bowl run without Adams.
Green Bay is pretty set on defense, however, improvements regarding consistency must be made. While the Packers had the best scoring defense at home in 2021 (16. 3 PPG), they allowed an average of 10 more points on the road.
If the Packers can bring back Rodgers and Adams while making defensive adjustments, they should be one of the top contenders in 2022. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing Green Bay as having +1300 odds (No. 5) to win Super Bowl LVII.
