The Green Bay Packers dominated in the month of October as they went a perfect 4-0 en route to seven straight wins. Their 7-1 record leads the NFL and the defensive performances have been most impressive during this stretch.

Green Bay held their opponents to 22 points or less across five games in October including three performances allowing less than 20 points.

Now, a first-year Packers defender has been named NFC Player of the Month.

NFC Player of the Month

Linebacker De'Vondre Campbell earned NFC Player of the Month honors after a brilliant month of defensive football. The former Arizona Cardinal was seen all over the field, defending passes and getting to the ball in the backfield.

Campbell racked up 45 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss and 2 forced fumbles during this stretch in October. The sixth-year NFL veteran even notched 2 passes defended and 1 interception en route to his award-winning month.

The Packers will have to overcome the loss of Aaron Rodgers (COVID-19 list) in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Fortunately, this team knows they can rely on a staunch defense that allows the ninth-fewest points per game (20.9) in the NFL.
