Ohio State Lands 5-Star WR Commit From Texas

The Ohio State Buckeyes have gotten off to just about the best start imaginable to their 2020 college football season, and things appear to be getting even better for the future of OSU football as the wins keep pouring in.
It's no secret that the more wins you pile up, the more interest your program is going to receive from top prospective recruits. The latest of which comes to Columbus from 5-Star wide receiver recruit, Caleb Burton.
And when you've got an established brand of success like they do in Columbus, with the stability and NFL talent factory to match, it should come as no surprise to see the nation's future finest announcing news like this.
Barton is a 6-foot, 165-pound junior wide receiver who plays for Del Valle High School in Texas. He's a Top 50 overall recruit for the Class of 2022 and was considering Florida, Texas, Alabama, LSU and others before choosing OSU.
The Buckeyes have thrived on aquiring top talent from Texas for some time, including landing quarterback Quinn Ewers from Texas last week. It's future names like Burton and Ewers who will be making the critical plays in the program's biggest games for years to come. it's great to be a Buckeyes' fan this week.
