Brooks Koepka just won the PGA Championship in dominating fashion, grabbing the first-round lead and completing the wire-to-wire win. Despite faltering a bit on Sunday and allowing Dustin Johnson to get within one stroke of the lead at one point, he quickly got a couple strokes back and walked up to the 18th green with the tournament in hand.

Tiger Woods didn't fare as well, missing the cut in a major for the first time in his career following a major win.

Despite their finishes being on opposite ends of the spectrum, according to FanDuel Sportsbook Koepka (+700), Johnson (+950), and Woods (+1100) remain the three betting favorites for golf's next and most challenging major, the U.S. Open, set to start on June 13 at Pebble Beach.

Outside of those three names, you get a slew of the rest of the big names on tour, including Jordan Spieth at +1500, with the fourth best odds. Spieth has not played well the past two years, but after a strong and encouraging showing at the PGA Championship, he seems to be on the minds of both bettors and bookmakers.

Guys like Rickie Fowler (+2100) and Justin Thomas (+2100) will also be hoping for great showings at the U.S. Open – Fowler, looking for his first major win and Thomas hoping to bounce back after a late withdrawal form the PGA Championship.

The odds are sure to fluctuate as the U.S. Open approaches, but as a tough tournament on a legendary course, it's safe to expect the top names to remain among the betting favorites.
