As arguably the most anticipated rookie since LeBron James, Zion Williamson continues to be the favorite to win the 2019-20 NBA Rookie of the Year (ROY) award, with -150 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Zion's hype was only multiplied after his preseason performance against the Chicago Bulls, in which he scored 29 points while shooting 12-for-13 from the field on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

He also grabbed four rebounds and completed a number of terrific passes that put his teammates in great positions, leading to four assists.

Chasing Zion in the ROY race is Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant, who is one of the most talented point guards to come into the league in the last few seasons. He has the second-best odds to win the award at +400.

Close behind Morant is New York Knicks small forward R.J. Barrett (+450), who was often overshadowed by Zion at Duke. The third overall pick is averaging 16.0 points per game (PPG) and 7.0 rebounds per game (RPG) through two preseason games.

Following the first three picks in the 2019 NBA Draft, Cleveland Cavaliers' guard Darius Garland is available at +1400, giving him the same odds as Denver Nuggets' forward Michael Porter Jr., who missed the entire season in 2018-19 after being drafted at No. 14 in the 2018 NBA Draft.
