Odds to Win NBA MVP Have Giannis Antetokounmpo Favored Over Luka Doncic, James Harden and LeBron James
By Max Staley

Giannis Antetokounmpo came into the season favored to win his second consecutive NBA MVP. Through 42 games, not much has changed.
The Milwaukee Bucks' superstar is averaging 30.0 points, 12.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game, and Giannis (-145) is still favored to win the award, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

After the reigning MVP, second-year breakout star Luka Doncic has the second-best odds (+350) to win the award. He's carried the Dallas Mavericks to a 26-15 record while increasing his stats from last season across the board.
Meanwhile, James Harden has the third-best odds (+460), and he'll be gunning for his second MVP award in the last three seasons.

There's a bit of a drop-off after the top three though, as the Los Angeles Lakers' dynamic duo, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, check in at +750 and +900, respectively.
It seems this is shaping up to be a five-man race, as Kawhi Leonard (+4100) is the next closest player in the odds. While these five do seem to have a stranglehold on the award, there's still about half the season left to go, and it wouldn't be impossible for a surprise candidate to surge up in the odds.
