The final Grand Slam of 2022 begins next month as tennis takes center stage on the hard courts of Flushing, Queens in New York City. The women's draw is led by Polish star Iga Swiatek (+220), with Japanese 2020 champion Naomi Osaka (+600) the only other lady with single-digit odds to win on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Elena Rybakina is +1600 despite her recent Wimbledon title win over Ons Jabeur, who is +1200 to win the U.S. Open.
The 2021 women's champion was Britain's 18-year-old star Emma Raducanu, who is +1400 to repeat. Last year's U.S. Open runner-up, Canadian Leylah Fernandez, is +2900 as she competes this year as a 20-year-old.
At the start of last year's U.S. Open, there were eight women with odds to win less than +2500, or 25/1. Currently there are 18 hopefuls with odds of +2200 or less.
