Joe Burrow's meteoric rise has been unlike anything we've ever seen. Prior to the 2019-20 season, he was a middling prospect with more of a game-manager identity, at best.

One Heisman Trophy and National Championship crown later, Burrow is now a -2200 odds-on favorite to be the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

While the odds certainly suggest he's a heavy favorite to join the Cincinnati Bengals come April, he'll face some competition from elite prospects like Chase Young (+1200) and Tua Tagovailoa (+1900). Andrew Thomas (+2700) and Justin Herbert (+3600) round out the rest of the top 5 by the odds.

Interestingly, Jacob Eason and Jake Fromm are tied for the sixth-best odds at +4300. Quarterbacks can often go higher than many project them to, but few, if any, have Eason and Fromm graded out as top-10 picks.

Even though Burrow appears to be securely atop the draft board, these odds will likely continue to shift as the offseason progresses.
