The Detroit Lions enter the NFL Draft armed with another top-10 pick, this time No. 2 overall. Selecting that high with no consensus on the No. 1 talent means the Lions could easily get their preferred choice when they're on the clock.

There's several directions Detroit could go with the second pick, but FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL Draft odds reveal who the Lions are most likely to select in April.

Lions Draft Rumors

There's two frontrunners to be Detroit's pick tied with the best odds at +380: Liberty QB Malik Willis and Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton.

Willis has made a push since the combine to solidfy his case as the best quarterback in this class. He displayed intriguing dual-threat skills in two years at Liberty, throwing for 5,107 yards and 47 TDs (along with 18 INTs) and adding another 1,822 yards and 27 scores on the ground.

Hamilton is considered a unicorn at his position, showcasing the potential to consistently make plays at the next level in the secondary. He racked up 8 interceptions, 16 pass deflections and 7.5 tackles for loss across three years with the Fighting Irish.

QB appears to be a less pressing issue for Detroit since free agency, as the team inked backups Tim Boyle and David Blough in recent days to serve behind Jared Goff.

The secondary is a much bigger immediate need. This unit was ranked third-worst by ProFootballFocus in 2021 after giving up the ninth-most passing yards per game.

Detroit could also pivot and address its defensive line. Georgia's Travon Walker (+430) and Michigan's Aidan Hutchinson (+500) are also seen as strong contenders to be the Lions' pick.

Offensive linemen Ikem Ekwonu and Evan Neal, both at +1000, are options as well and could join 2021 No. 7 pick Penei Sewell for years to come.
