The MLB postseason push is officially in full swing, and that's clear in the National League East. This division may shape up to be the closest race in baseball with the first few weeks in August showing a massive shakeup in the latest NL East division odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

NL East Division Odds

Very similar to one team in the AL East, the New York Mets are on the verge of an utter collapse. Despite the barrage of injury struggles, the Mets sat firmly in first place in the standings to kick off the month of August. But, a 5-12 start to the month has New York completely stumbling and on the verge of this total collapse.

New York fell from a 3.5-game lead on Aug. 1 to now trailing the Atlanta Braves by 4.5 games. The division odds showcase this collapse as New York has shifted from -230 odds to win the division, to now unfavorable +600 odds.

Those odds rank third behind both the Braves and Philadelphia Phillies, who sit atop New York in the standings. Atlanta appears the division favorite with their -230 odds and 3.5-game lead over the second-place Phillies.
