The 2021-22 NBA season has reached its final stretch, leaving the league's best players with only a handful of games to make their NBA MVP case.

The race has come down to basketball's top-two centers in recent weeks, with the Philadelphia 76ers' Joel Embiid taking the lead over the Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic. Now the race has been shaken up once again.

As of March 31, Jokic is FanDuel Sportsbook's new 2021-22 NBA MVP favorite at -170 — an improvement over the +170 he was at last week. Meanwhile, Embiid has gone from being -170 in the last update to +140 now.

Jokic has been on a roll recently, averaging 32.7 points, 14.7 rebounds and 9.3 assists in three games since last week's MVP update. His efforts helped win each of those games for the Nuggets, who now sit just 2.0 games back of the Dallas Mavericks for the West's No. 3 spot.

On the other hand, Embiid has averaged 33.0 PTS/14.5 REB/4.5 AST in two games over that same span. The 76ers dropped both of those contests, which is likely why his odds have gotten worse.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to sit at No. 3 with +1600 odds, while the rest of the field is at +12000 or worse.

Here's a look at how the rest of the 2021-22 NBA MVP odds are shaping up.
