Nickeil Alexander-Walker Stats
Nickeil Alexander-Walker rose to national prominence during his sophomore campaign with the Hokies in 2018-19, averaging 16.2 points per game (PPG), 4.1 assist per game (APG) and 1.9 steals per game (SPG) while shooting 37.4 percent from 3-point range.
The Virginia Tech product is an efficient scorer with great court vision, but where Alexander-Walker really excels is on defense. The 20-year-old prospect reads his opponents incredibly well and uses great anticipation to jump passing lanes and force turnovers.
While there's plenty of upside, Alexander-Walker is considered too skinny by some scouts and needs to fill out his frame in order to thrive at the next level.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker NBA Draft Predictions
- Orlando Magic (No. 16), Boston Celtics (No. 20)
The Orlando Magic could select Alexander-Walker mid-way through the first round as the team could lose Michael Carter-Williams and Terrence Ross in free agency. While he might not start right away, the guard's scoring ability and court vision make him a potentially nice fit in Orlando.
The Boston Celtics have been linked with several guard prospects over the past few weeks and drafting Alexander-Walker would make plenty of sense. The Virginia Tech product could make an immediate impact coming off the bench for Boston as he fits the team's mold as an upside defender with scoring ability.
