Nick Sirianni Goes Off on Jalen Reagor in the Middle of Practice

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jalen Reagor has drawn serious ire after being the No. 21 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

His rookie campaign paled in comparison to his peers, and doubts among fans are creeping in. Yet there was optimism that Reagor could turn it around with new head coach Nick Sirianni in town.

Well, it appears Reagor's rough start to training camp hasn't done him any favors with his new coach.

The wideout was chewed out by Sirianni during Wednesday practice for everyone to see. Given his struggles to this point, it could be a cause for concern. Reagor failed his conditioning test at the start of training camp as well.

One major factor likely having an impact on Reagor to begin camp is the recent loss of a close friend. That personal turmoil has almost surely played a role in his current performance.

Reagor has praised Sirianni for his support, so the head coach is well aware of what his wideout is going through. Wednesday's sounding off could have been Sirianni's attempt at getting Reagor back into a football mindset with the preseason approaching.
