NFL Playoffs Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Rams vs Packers Divisional Round Game
By Max Staley

A banged-up Los Angeles Rams team travels to Green Bay to take on the Packers in a matchup that could be much closer than many expect. FanDuel Sportsbook lists Aaron Rodgers and the Packers as 7-point favorites, per their NFL Playoff odds.
If you're still looking to get your fantasy football fix, there are plenty of formats available to keep playing throughout the NFL Playoffs. Here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Rams-Packers Divisional Round clash.
Cam Akers Fantasy
Start Cam Akers, RB, Los Angeles Rams: Cam Akers has officially broken out. The rookie closed out his final five regular-season games averaging 104.0 yards from scrimmage on 21.2 opportunities per game. The Rams' feature back then stream rolled the Seattle Seahawks in his postseason debut, recording a whopping 176 yards from scrimmage on 28 touches. Likely playing with a hobbled QB, Sean McVay and the Rams will need to rely on Akers to move the chains. And he should find some success against a Packers' defense that's below-average by Football Outsiders' run defense DVOA metric.
Aaron Jones Fantasy
Start Aaron Jones, RB, Green Bay Packers: Los Angeles has one of the best pass defenses in football, so it's tough to imagine Green Bay's offense rolling as it usually does. But the Rams are much more vulnerable agains the run – especially if Aaron Donald is out or playing hurt. Despite a wildly inefficient day from Russell Wilson, RB Chris Carson still generated 77 rushing yards on 16 carries in the Wild Card Round. Aaron Jones is one of the top backs in the league and Green Bay will likely feed him some heavy volume to keep the offense moving.
Cooper Kupp Fantasy
Sit Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams: Cooper Kupp managed to overcome some inaccurate throws by Goff to finish with 78 yards on 9 targets last week. It's tough to project a repeat performance here. For one, over half of those came on one horribly off-target pass that he somehow managed to haul in. Explosive, downfield plays are not Kupp's forte. He shines on shorter, precise routes, and if Goff's thumb injury leads to another inaccurate day, Kupp might not do much come Saturday. Plus, he'll likely spend a ton of time being shadowed by Jaire Alexander, which is bad news for any WR.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling Fantasy
Sit Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Green Bay Packers: Marquez Valdes-Scantling is as boom-or-bust as it gets. Over his last six, he's had two games with at least 85 receiving yards and a TD and four outings with zero catches. It's not like he was benched either, as he played at least 60% of the snaps in all four of those contests. Against one of the stingiest pass defenses in the league, MVS is much more likely to fall on the "bust" side of things this weekend.
