NFL Insider Makes Bold Prediction for Jalen Reagor's Rookie Season

When the Philadelphia Eagles selected Jalen Reagor at No. 21 overall, the reaction wasn't exactly positive. Most fans and analysts seemed to believe the team would pick Justin Jefferson at that spot, and when the organization went in a different direction, fans seemed pretty shocked.
But perhaps that was a bit of an overreaction on the part of Eagles' fans. Because NFL inside Adam Caplan believes Reagor is poised for a monster 2020 campaign.
"I'll make a prediction –– Jalen Reagor will not only lead the #Eagles receivers in receptions, but also in snaps."@caplannfl's prediction for Birds' 1st-rd pick, replacements for Brandon Brooks and Alshon Jeffery's future, all during #FootballAtFour.https://t.co/hFS1DsMd2e

Caplan believes Reagor will lead the team's wideouts in both receptions and snaps played.
To be fair, though, that's not exactly a high bar to clear – at least it wasn't last season. In 2019, Alshon Jeffery recorded 43 receptions, which was more than any other Eagles' wideout. Nelson Agholor, meanwhile, lead the team with 690 snaps played.
But with DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery both appearing healthy enough entering the year, it would be pretty impressive if Reagor managed to make Caplan's prediction come true. Eagles fans certainly hope that's the case.
