3 Teams That Should Trade Up for Cowboys' No. 10 Pick in Draft

The 2021 NFL Draft is just over a week away and we have already seen two massive trades within the top 10 overall picks. Well, that may not be the end of it as the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly receiving a ton of interest in their No. 10 overall pick.
This is an intriguing spot given the Cowboys could still grab an elite level player if they move down. With that being said, here are three teams that should trade up for the Dallas' No. 10 pick in the draft.
1. New England Patriots (No. 15)
This move would only be made if we see a quarterback prospect fall early on in the first round, which is definitely a possibility due to the depth at the top of the position. The New England Patriots are in search of a franchise QB after signing Cam Newton to just a one-year deal. Bill Belichick could have his eyes set on a signal caller in this class and he has built a reputation for doing whatever he can to get the players he wants onto his team. Plus, moving up five spots would likely not cost the Patriots a future first-round pick.
2. Las Vegas Raiders (No. 17)
Unlike the other two teams listed here, this deal would not be for a top quarterback prospect. The Las Vegas Raiders are confident in starter Derek Carr, but could use this opportunity to grab a top talent at another position. They would have their pick amongst possible choices including offensive lineman Penei Sewell, wide receiver DeVonta Smith or cornerback Patrick Surtain II. No matter what, the Raiders would be able to address a major need on their roster. Staying put at No. 17 runs the risk of missing out on the elite prospects in this 2021 draft class.
3. Chicago Bears (No. 20)
The Chicago Bears signed veteran quarterback Andy Dalton in the offseason to be their starter, but that shouldn't rule out a major trade in this draft for them. The Bears have made the playoffs in two of the last three seasons despite subpar play from the QB position. Imagine what they could accomplish with a young exciting player running the offense. Yes, it would take a lot of draft capital for Chicago to move up 10 spots in the first round. However, it may be the Bears' only opportunity to grab their quarterback of the future and they should not waste it.
