NFL Draft Odds Show Clyde Edwards-Helaire's Stock Skyrocketing

For as much intrigue and news as we see between the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft, things always start to get really crazy in the last few days before the draft kicks off.
One player whose stock has been moving rapidly is LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL Draft odds indicate that his value is spiking just one day out from Day 1 of the draft.
LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is the only player in SEC history with 1,000+ rushing yards and 50+ receptions in a single season.

A crazy stat to consider when factoring in that the SEC has had 95 RB drafted to the NFL just since 2000, including 15 first rounders.
Edwards-Helaire didn't do much in his first two seasons in Baton Rouge, but his production exploded in his 2019 junior year. He racked up 1,414 yards on 215 carries, adding 453 yards on 55 receptions, scoring a combined 17 touchdowns.
He also showed some explosiveness at the combine — he underwhelmed in the 40-yard dash (4.60 seconds) but had a strong broad jump (123 inches) and vertical jump (39.5 inches).
Long considered the number-four RB prospect in the class, behind D'Andre Swift, Jonathan Taylor and J.K. Dobbins, the betting markets have shifted in Edwards-Helaire's favor. He is now third in the odds to be the first running back off the board, at +600, jumping ahead of Dobbins (+700).
The odds for the exact order of the first three running backs drafted also have Swift then Taylor then Edwards-Helaire as the most likely order (+400), ahead of Swift then Taylor then Dobbins (+450).
It remains to be seen if this late shift is the result of misdirection and baseless rumors, but it certainly seems like the former LSU workhorse could be shooting up NFL teams' draft boards.
