Everyone is buzzing about the potential landing spots of the top-five quarterbacks in the 2021 NFL Draft –– Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Justin Fields, Trey Lance and Mac Jones. But there are still some talented signal-callers expected to be selected later in the draft that aren't getting as much attention.

For many, Florida QB Kyle Trask is considered the top option of that second tier. However, the latest NFL Draft odds on FanDuel Sportsbook suggest different, at least when it comes to who will be selected first.

Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond is currently listed as a -142 favorite to be drafted before Trask (+112).

Most mocks and analysts believe Trask will be the sixth quarterback off the board, but recently guys like Mond and Davis Mills from Stanford have also been receiving a lot of buzz.

There will be plenty of teams that could be looking to go after a quarterback in the later part of Round 1 or Rounds 2 and 3. Teams like the Chicago Bears, Washington Football Team, Detroit Lions or even the New England Patriots, all fit the bill as teams that could miss out on one of the top-five guys and instead elect to address the position outside Round 1.

And as of now, the odds say Mond could be coming off the board ahead of Trask.
