In the first Monday Night Football game of Week 1, the New York Giants host the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite starting the year at home, the Giants are the clear underdogs in this matchup.

Still, crazier things have happened, and there could be plenty of surprises in this game. With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for the Giants against the Steelers.

3. Giants Force Three Takeaways

The Giants could not force turnovers last season, averaging just 1.0 per game (T-No. 28 in NFL). However, the addition of Logan Ryan will be big for this secondary. On top of that, we have a unique Week 1 where defenses should be further along than offenses. The Giants are also facing a quarterback in Ben Roethlisberger who hasn't played in a year. So, this defense could be rewarded in Week 1.

2. Giants Score Over 25 Points

The lights are on and they are on a national stage. Let's see if the Giants can find some fireworks in Week 1. They averaged just 21.3 points per game last season, but they were never at full health. While Golden Tate is already hurt for this offense, it's as healthy and complete as it has been with Daniel Jones there.

1. Saquon Barkley Totals 150 Yards

This Steelers defense is elite. There is no questioning that. However, their run defense was only average, giving up 109.6 yards on the ground per game (No. 14 in NFL). Saquon Barkley is back healthy and he will be the focal point of the offense, getting involved in both the running and passing games. Expect him to take advantage in both areas.
