NBA Rookie of the Year Odds on Opening Night Favor Jalen Green Over Cunningham, Suggs on FanDuel Sportsbook

The 2021-22 NBA season opens on Tuesday, Oct. 19 and people are already looking ahead to the future. FanDuel Sportsbook has odds on a variety of award markets, including who'll be named this year's NBA Rookie of the Year.

Houston Rockets shooting guard Jalen Green is the +210 NBA Rookie of the Year favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The 19-year-old played for the G-League Ignite last season, averaging 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists against grown men.

The first overall pick in this year's draft, Cade Cunningham has the second-best odds at +300. The Detroit Pistons guard proved he could do it all for the Oklahoma State Cowboys last season, averaging 20.1 PPG, 6.2 RPG and 3.5 APG across 27 contests.

Orlando Magic point guard Jalen Suggs rounds out the top three at +700 odds. While he may not be a scoring threat like Green and Cunningham, Suggs averaged a respectable 14.4 PPG, 5.3 APG, 4.5 APG with Gonzaga last season while also averaging 1.9 steals.
