NBA Reveals Punishment for Jason Kidd After Recent Ejection

On Monday, the Dallas Mavericks dropped below .500 with a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. There are a couple of things that happened during the game that surely helped Minnesota get that win. Dallas' best player, Luka Doncic was ejected from the game on a questionable second technical foul call. Then, in defense of his star player, head coach Jason Kidd was also tossed.
We now know what the punishment for Kidd is. He will receive a $25,000 fine for the incident.

After the game, Doncic himself admitted that he deserved the first technical, but suggested the second one was completely bogus.
These things are often a "he said, she said" thing with the refs, and it's not uncommon for either party to bend the truth when asked about the interaction that caused the technical, so we really will never get the full story.
Now, Kidd has to pay the fine for backing up his star, and the Mavericks get the loss -- just another night in the Association.
